How do I create a new exercise from scratch?

Modified on Fri, 17 Oct at 5:01 PM

Quick Answer

Go to Library → Exercises → New. Add a name, cues, target muscles, equipment, difficulty, and media. Save to use it in workouts and plans.

Context

Custom exercises let you coach your method. Clear names and cues improve execution quality and reduce back-and-forth in chat.

How it works

1. Library → Exercises → New exercise.

2. Fill in name, description/cues, primary and secondary muscle groups.

3. Add equipment, difficulty, and any relevant tags.

4. Attach or link a demonstration video (optional but recommended).

5. Save. The exercise is now available in the workout builder.

Good to know

• Keep names short and descriptive; add cues in the description.

• Use tags consistently to improve search and filters.

• Include a short video clip to clarify form and tempo.
